Former Arsenal striker Eduardo has been linked with a move to Inter Milan in the last few weeks, but the Shakhtar Donetsk striker has revealed that he does not know anything about the rumours.
However, he would be happy to join a club like Inter Milan. The 30-year-old is currently playing with the Ukrainian outfit since 2010 after moving to the club on a permanent basis.
He was regarded as one of the brightest prospects for Arsenal only to suffer a leg break that he immediately failed to recover from during his Arsenal days.
In the last few years, though, he has been coming back to his best and this has prompted interest from Inter Milan. The Croatian could be available on a free transfer at the end of the season and Shakhtar Donetsk have also been unable to agree a new deal with him. I love Arsenal reckon it might be worth sticking a cheeky sports bet on?
It is widely expected that Inter will allow Diego Milito to leave the club at the end of the campaign, which would leave them short of a centre forward. They recently taken over by an Indonesian businessman after the 18-year-old spell for Massimo Moratti as the club owner came to an end.
“I read about this in the Italian press. It would be nice to play for Inter, it’s nice to hear them talking about me in the context of a big club. However, I do not know anything yet and I have a contract until July,” said Eduardo.
Shakhtar Donetsk are top of the table after 17 matches in the season. They have a three-point advantage over Chornomorets in the table. They are also capable of getting into the last 16 of the Champions league.
Eduardo has stressed that he does not anything about the interest from Inter Milan. The striker has made only one substitute appearance this season.
